Welcome! My name is Mimi Farhat and I am currently a freshman at the University of Michigan Dearborn. On this blog site I will be posting many responses concerning social media and the impact it has on today’s society. I will also post reflections on the writings of different authors such as Jonathan Kozol and Naomi Klein in relation to this topic. A majority of this blog site will also include the role that social activism has on racism and how our generation can engage in social activism via social media and movements that can help to deal with such a hurtful phenomenon as racism.
